Vendorhood Plaza is an innovative business that provides a marketing vehicle for small businesses to leverage social media, direct selling technology, and personal interactions to promote and showcase their products and services.
Our on-premise booth and virtual kiosk-based platform provides unique selling channels that give our business partners the feel of their very own brick and mortar boutique in which to market themselves to the communities that they serve. Each booth and kiosk is carefully positioned, in the Vendorhood Plaza, along with local eateries, thereby placing their unique businesses among other liked-minded entrepreneurs looking to grow and expand their business.
All platforms are not created equal! Even when you find the right platform for your business you often-times must fit into a one-size-all puzzle that comes with a hefty price tag.
Vendorhood Plaza fosters a climate where small businesses can join together to close the funding and marketing gap that currently exists between large and small to medium businesses, by leveraging virtual and social based technologies to reach a larger consumer base.
This will also directly affect the economic health of our communities by exposing local consumers to specialized and unique products not often available in their areas and allow a personal interaction missing from web-based shopping.
A Philadelphia native, Tacarra started her passion with event management over 20 years ago planning weddings and events for family and friends. She previously worked in the financial industry for 14 years, where she planned and coordinated corporate peer-sharing events and conferences for thousands of attendees per year at hotels and conference centers throughout the country. Although this was satisfying work for her, Tacarra always had a deep passion to help others reach their full potential. After identifying the broadening need for small businesses to promote and showcase their products and services, Tacarra became the visionary for the Vendorhood Plaza platform, working as Founder & Chief Executive Officer. "It's time that we rethink how we are marketing and growing our small to mid-size businesses. We are in a pivotal time where we have to be intentional in making continuous improvements, or we will get left behind. We are raising the bar to how we are used to seeing vending being done - Vendorhood Plaza is reinventing it!"
